References

Each submitted text must include a bibliography. The following rules apply:
  • The bibliography is titled "References".
  • All references in the text and only these are listed.
  • The titles are sorted alphabetically according to the last name of the first author. Multiple publications by the same author(s) are sorted downward by year of publication.
  • Each combination of author/year of publication must be clearly assigned to the corresponding parenthesis citation in the text. In case of ambiguity, small letters a,b,c,... are used for differentiation (see section Citation).
  • In the bibliography, the first names of all authors and editors mentioned should be written out in full (instead of giving only the first letter). If there are more than 8 authors, only the first eight should be listed and concluded with et al.
  • Institutional authors should be listed with the abbreviation used, if any, and the name should be written out in full after a comma.
    Example institution as author:
CEPAL, Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (2019). Panorama Social de América Latina 2018, Santiago.

    Example institution as editor:

  • If available, DOIs have to be mentioned after the bibliographical reference.
