Calls for new economic and social approaches to combine social and climate justice have become louder and more urgent in light of the current COVID-19 and climate crises. The need to address inequalities, exploitation of people, and lacking respect for the natural boundaries of our planet have led to new approaches such as just transition, wellbeing economics or a new eco-social contract.
